I was watching an expert on these anti air defences on BBC earlier yesterday and he was basically saying that it was not possible to mistake a military plane for a passenger jet on one of those pieces of equipment .

But that they are stand alone units with a couple of dudes sitting in them.

Well there you go, they shot the plane down, missile strike it was.
Also what do you expect to happen now?
We can speculate till the cows come home if it was intentional or not.
You can't prove it.
You can't go to war over an accident.
What is gained by proving it wasn't an accident.
What would say Canada really gain?
If they did prove it was intentional then they have to deal with THAT problem.

I think Trump realized fast he doesn't want to do the whole war thing. And his moment of Zen came right after that plane went down.

I'd like to think, deep in that orange head of his, he feels some responsibility. Because he does, and if he doesn't feel a remote shred, well then that proves what every naysayer has believed all along.

I lived in an area with frequent gunshots. It took me a few years of living in a different area to start noticing and recognizing gunshots again.

I should be clear I don't think that the video is fake, just that it would be easy to fake.

It may not be fake, but it may also not show the incident in question. So, there are levels...
