The fundamental question is, is it ever okay to do terrible things for the greater good?

All of us are lucky that some people believe that the answer to that question is 100% a yes.

And that’s fine. But don’t pretend this analysis isn’t “freshmen” level as well.
Oh your wrong my "analysis" is sophomoric

Trump must love the Fake News folks! Though they haven’t given us a shred of evidence that Soleimani or that his militia groups were planning attacks CNN and others have a parade of Republican hawks coming all over themselves. These assholes have learned nothing since 2003.

"Whatever happens next, understand and never stop pointing out that Donald Trump walked into office with no crisis with Iran. He then filled his cabinet with warmongers, walked away from a multilateral diplomatic accord, and purposefully engaged in 'maximum pressure.' He owns this." - Stephen Miles
They haven’t learned anything since World War I, don’t stop at 2003.

The funny thing about this is, it is within his power, just like every other president, to end treaties and undo things from the previous president. I do not like what he did, but all we hear is an embassy is our sovereign land in a foreign country. So, is eye for an eye only good when it isn’t Trump?

I'll put goodlun down in the "yes" column for backing another pointless war that people that are not goodlun will die for.

Sirc and Phrost should put a stripe on your belt in the art of sounding like a fool for attempting to put words in other people’s mouths.

My willingness to argue the fact that people give the CIA far too much credit for the revolution in Iran isn't an endorsement for going to war in Iran, not is it particularly an endorsement for the CIAs activities.

This comment is actually deeply ironic as you do exactly that constantly. Dr. Liar.

Does Bullshido have an ignore / block function? Goodlum and others cheat. Bullshido to the core, never addressing responses. Any way to avoid their bullshit? I have engaged worthy opponents like Vargas about US policy, and we respected and amused each other. These guys are dishonest, superficial, and not worthy of attention.
