You don't do "evil" very well. Has anyone ever mentioned it? It must be a pity to have to hide out here, of all places. You'd have so much more fun on Twitter. But you'd have to also have to deal with responses from a significant number of people. You're too shy for that.

Don't worry about me, I have more guns than you do and I'm a survivalist.

If I was going to kill myself it would have been a long time ago, before I bought all my gear.

I'm probably a lot more conservative than you too. I waste nothing.

Hahahaaa! You fill me with glee, Buttslammer.

That's the only weapon you'll have at your disposal for the next four years. Maybe eight. Sniping away at random comments while your socialist party is powerless to pursue your agenda.

            LOL Did I miss anything?

When a Trump voter suggests they "won" because of their vote, ask them to show you the prize. They'll point to a hat, a Tweet, Trump on TV, or something Trump hasn't done yet. It's like they've been called up as the next contestant on the Price is Right, but totally overbid on the kitchen set. LOSERS are born that way. Overconfidence is a weakness.
Okay, I will throw in a couple of words on this one.
Nationalism: Isn't that pretty much like patriotism? If so, I'm good with it, if not, please elaborate.
Isolationism: Isn't that like taking care of our own and not worrying much about other countries? If so, I'm good with it.
Forced deportation of immigrants: Don't you mean deportation of people who are 'illegally' present in this country?
Refugee restrictions: Isn't that merely enforcing laws that are already on the books that protect our interests?
Abortion restrictions: Isn't this a reflection of conservative values; part of the platform he ran on? Anyone surprised?
Limiting LGBT rights: Should LGBT people have more rights than I? Should they have less? Should they have the same?
Climate change denial: Not much to argue here, some believe that there is warming, others don't. I've never seen the Grand Canyon, but I believe it is there.

I despise Obamacare aka The Affordable Care Act. Up until about 2011, I had what the insurance industry referred to as a 'Cadillac Plan', paid for entirely by my employer. It cost me $20 to go see the doctor and if shit went really bad, $100 for an emergency room trip. When it came up for renegotiation, the Affordable Care Act made it possible and even profitable for the insurance carrier to put the screws to my family. I now have some kind of Obamacare bronze plan shit and it costs me a minimum of $45 to see the doctor--if he actually gives me a shot, I get more bills later. A trip to the emergency room will now cost me $500 up front and that's just to get things started.

I am hopeful that President Trump and the legislature can at least come up with some kind of happy medium. I don't expect to go back to the way it was, but at least somewhere in the middle. I work 80 hours a week and can't afford to get sick, and I'm in a better position than many people I know who just pay the penalty and hope for the best. If it weren't for my recent discovery of the V.A. healthcare system, I would be really screwed. Hillary wasn't going to make it any better for people like me (basically, the working poor), but if I quit my job and went on Medicaid, I would be fine. I'd have to find a cheaper place to live, give up a few toys, but I'd have more free time, work off the books, and likely have a better life without worry.
I thought I spelled it wrong, but as I said I'm a mechanic not an English professor.

Um...I don't have a party, remember? Like I said before, you can't map someone's VOTE to a PARTY AGENDA.

Voting for 1 out of 2 candidates suddenly means you support an entire political party?

No wonder you need to rely on Alternative Facts™. You're building a rock and roll fantasy.

slamdunc, Anal Destroyer doesn't give a fuck about YOUR healthcare. He already told me it was just tough titty that my insurance premiums went up $3K/year. He only cares about poor black lesbians in wheelchairs with pre-existing conditions. So you can get fucked. Take a long walk off a short pier.

                    Why bother.

All of the shit in his post is irrelevant because of this ironically simple comment.
or something Trump hasn't done yet.
This is EXACTLY what all of the crying, marching and complaining was about; stuff Trump hasn't done yet. Before you start, I'll stop it right now, NO, Executive Orders and Executive Actions are NOT THE SAME nor are they interchangeable.

I'll gish gallup through this....hold on.

Nationalism (and by that I mean more appropriately, Chauvinism) puts "country" first among other, sometimes more important things. That's not a mainstream position. It can be a form of zealotry. If all men are created equal, so are all countries. Patriotism is different, it's fighting FOR your country against threats. NOTE: people who you disagree with, or who don't believe in "country first", aren't threats.

Isolationism can mean taking care of our own by shutting off the rest of the world, which is a mistake and leads to depressions and wars, and things that come back to bite the United States. It's hard to find any evidence that isolationism is good for the US.

"illegally" in the country doesn't mean they broke the law. A lot of these are families and small children who will not survive if deported. Note, Trump and the GOP have already both agreed and backed off this position. Because it's totally inhumane and un-American to tear apart families, for almost any reason.

Refugees are another humanitarian crisis. There is a substantial security processing system in place for refugees already. So, if enforcing the law is what you want....ask Donald Trump why he thinks it's a bad system that is going to flood America with domestic terrorists...because that's what he ran on.

Abortion restrictions are an extreme agenda...even most people who are pro-Life are not advocating taking away other women's reproductive rights. CHANGING THE LAW OF THE LAND is an extreme position.

LGBT people are just starting to get the right to be LGBT in public, dude. To kiss, get married, get health care for their partners, or visitation rights in the hospital. Equality under the law isn't "more rights."

Climate change...another thing many Republicans no longer deny, or encourage the disruption of. Because wherever I read "climate change denial" nowadays, I think "climate science disruption".

Sorry about that. I blame a lot of your suffering on the GOP, for not working with Obama to build a better law. We didn't get the law we needed, we got what he was able to get signed.

The ACA is the only reason my mother is insurable, after suffering dementia in her early 60's. It covered a critical 3-year gap before she qualified for Medicare. It was instrumental in getting her neurological healthcare and help with the myriad of complications that arise from a frontotemporal dementia.

Medicaid led to Social Security Disability, which enabled us to get an ACA plan that got her to the Medicare safety net. I'm pretty young but I've just gotten a great education in retirement and end of life care, I guess. I wish the GOP had worked with Obama on this more. Their inaction on healthcare, along with a lot of other stuff, is what led Trump to taking control from the party.

Trump doesn't scare me. Like I keep saying, I'm very 1985 about it.

What concerns me more is the critical mass of Trump supporters who will ride his presidency as a sort of Golden Ticket to promote their own extreme agenda. Trump kind of gathered all these agendas in the Big GOP Tent, now he has to deal with the machine he's created. It could turn and bite the hand that feeds.

Especially if it's being puppeteered by Russians LOL

I guess so. My affiliation is independent. I voted for a Democrat president, but I have lots of Republican friends...they all hate Trump. I can't vote for my Republican governor, because he's just a moron. But I usually vote Republican for governor. So going by my voting record, I'm middle of the road, politically.

I just think Trump is a goofball pretending to be a shark pretending to be a moron. He's "a dude, playing a dude, disguised as another dude.." It's hard to tell the real value of Trump. Hell, haven't seen his taxes yet, have we.

Sitting on a fence isn't easy with so much pushing.

Here you can have all my opinions all in one nutshell.

                            - I thought Obama was impressive. Best president in a long time.

                            - I thought George W. Bush was adorable. Toughest job transition ever.

                            - Clinton made me feel safe and secure. He knew how to handle the White House.

                            - Bush Sr. was a hero, for obvious reasons.

                            - Ronald Reagan had dementia IN OFFICE. So I relate to Ronnie more than any president, ever. 1985.

Kids don't come on my lawn because they know Hell lives there. And I'm not much of a conspiracy theorist. I don't think socialists are acting out some grand secret scheme. I think they're being dumbasses right out in the open, posting on Bullshido and turning over trashcans to spite the man and whatnot.
