Anyone have an opinion on Suits?

As previously mentioned, I'm a big Whedon fan, so when I see talent from his shows show up in other places, I sit up and take note. Suits has Gina Torres, DB Woodside, and Amy Acker. Seems like a show I should try.
Consider for a moment that there is no meme about brown-haired, brown-eyed step children.

Just done 3 seasons of Ray Donovan. Thought was awesome and I don't know why it's taken me this long to get around to it.

I'm currently treating my inner girl to Grey's Anatomy. I'm halfway through season 6.

Somehow me and the girlfriend ended up mainlining Battlestar Galactica again.
Thanks a lot Hulu, I thought I was over this addiction.

I enjoyed the first few seasons and should try and finish it but the Psuedo-religious overtones became a little bit too heavy handed for me, particularly for the Cylons. If you're going for round two you must have enjoyed it?

I think binge-watching TV if bad for you.

Too much TV was bad for you in general years ago when a couple hours a day was common... auto-injecting in volume can't be healthy.

I resist watching more than one episode at a time...it's nice to hold out a good series as long as you can.

                  It's cute!
Much better than reality TV. It actually feels like really interesting reality tv at times. The religious stuff makes sense cause magic is real there... or seems to be real there (then).

The original Battlestar Galatica was a Star Wars treatment of the Cold War.

Towards the end of the original series, they find a planet called "Terra" they believe to be Earth, only to discover it's locked in war with Space Russians/Nazis. After fighting through armies of robot killers, they end up back at real world 20th century Earth problems. Bummer!

After that, they made the Galactica 1980 movie with Wolfman Jack..all downhill until the reboot added more sex and death, the key elements of any decent drama.

If you haven't already got on it, yes. The first season is amazing. It kinda goes off the compelling viewing rails later in the series, but a bit like House, you can sort of come back to it. Also, Harvey Specter is a fucking legendary character.

Rick and Morty needs another mention as golden animation, although I wasn't a huge fan of Season 3, episodes 2-4, I'd call myself just a fan of those.

There's some good options in here.

I watched nearly all of the original series and remember enjoying it. That was a sketchy TV movie though wasn't it... they had the cloaking Vipers and flying bikes and other wierd shit.

I probably will crack on with the reboot at some point but I've got other stuff to work theory that like Sons of Anarchy and the Wire.

Very different from the graphic novel, but true to it's spirit!
