You can just go to the court documents, for that: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Ryan_(politician)

Im in the second series of Battlestar Galactica but the pseudo-religious leanings of both human and Cylon elements is grating a bit.

I've moved on to Falling Skies which is equally as daft but light fun.

Now I think about it, I've binge watched:
          - Scrubs - great stuff
          - The First 48 - Americans and their guns....Good Lord...

          All on cable, of course.

I look forward to binge watching:
          - Homicide Hunter - I've great respect for Lt Joe Kenda. Eloquent, humane and a very decent human being.
          - Inside Homicide - Mmmm, Summer Benton, gorgeous woman.

You do seem to have a lot of, er, 'gun training' on your side of the pond.

Started watching True Detective, season 1, yesterday. Funny, I don't really care for Harrelson or McConaughey, but the show is quite gripping. An interesting and novel way to do a teleplay.

Just started episode 3, I'm loving it.

The un-likeable quality of the characters is part of their charm. They over-do it in Season 2 with different actors, but Season 1 is the real deal and possibly one of the best shows I've ever watched. The show is aptly named. The hardest part of watching the show is wanting a damn cigarette.

Try looking into the work of Nic Pizzolatto, if you end up liking the writing.

Joss Whedon does a good job of spinning up a show, he tends to jump the mother fucking shark pretty fucking early on most of his work though and does a horrible job of closing out series. Good concept man, great guy to get a show going but you need someone that gets his vision to take over for him about 1/2 way though the 1st season on most shit.

I watched The OA, yesterday. All of it. It was gripping enough that I didn't quit - barely, though. It was predictable. I think I liked it, but I don't have the let-down feeling I get when I finish a show that I actually enjoy. Next on the list: Dirk Gently (the US version).

I binge watched all of Supergirl season 1 and A Series of Unfortunate Events. I highly recommend both. Watched 3 episodes of The Flash, fucking sucks. It's like One Tree Hill with superpowers.

You can quit after the Scar episode. It's hopeless from there on out.

They are promoting that pretty hard, I never got around to watching the movie, or reading the books, so maybe I'll give that a try. In the interim, I'm giving Lie to Me another go, and I'm enjoying it, this time. I do need to start on Dirk Gently, though, only 3 weeks until the BBC(US) yanks it from their site. There's also a BBC(UK) version, different cast, not sure if same scripts.

Lie To Me was pretty good. I'm due a re-watch on that, myself.
