Fyi, the signs of "stress" the polygraph looks for are undetectable by the human eye. Microscopic beads of sweat on your fingertips, etc. Slightly increased pulse. A couple extra or too few breaths per minute. Pseudoscientific bullshit.
With your neurology, you'd trigger the machine just under questioning, regardless of the question.
Diane Sawyer was trained to beat the test in minutes. And the worst spies in US history passed many with no problems.
So I agree, all new federal employees should just be Clawboarded. It'd be cheaper and more effective. I'll pass your recommendation on.

I have known people with fairly "interesting" mental illness get into the NSA as W2 employees on the technical side.
As well as health problems such as insulin dependent diabetes that can cause mood swings, etc. if the insulin is not right.
Working in those environments tends to make people more paranoid than they were before.
And, one could argue that the right baseline paranoia is a virtue in those environments.
But mental illness, or even susceptibility to mood swings, depending on circumstance, does not always seem to preclude people from getting hired by that agency.

The irony is I passed a 400 question psych battery with no problem. I should post some of the test questions, they were surreal.
Ultimately I got the job, I just got fed up after almost a year of security clearance processing because like a naive 21 year old, I thought the polygraph was a fair test. Nope. I turned into Chunk from The Goonies. Still "inconclusive".
After my third trip to BWI I said fuck this, I'm staying in Massachusetts with Mrs. Rabbit. So, no Jack Ryan for me. I did better.
Always follow your heart, Ghost. You'll either be Jack Ryan someday, or better. I can feel it.

In fact, they are pretty pushy about it with the third parties.
I was a Dudley Do Right with a flawless record. Polygraph suggested I was a serious criminal hiding wickedness.
Whatever. I chose the better path.

You should get on the podcasts and speak some real espanol.
