Watched the Mandolorian with the kids my wife keeps claiming are my offspring.

Anybody else notice a recurring motif in the score is highly derivative of the original Rocky score?

Its funny and I like that the people it is mocking deserve to be mocked.

Just finished watching The Widow and the second season of Jack Ryan, both Amazon products. Jack Ryan 2 not as good as 1 but still worth watching, The Widow was fine not great. They try to ugly up Kate Beckinsale a bit and fail miserably.

That's why all the shows about marijuana go out of business. People realize pretty quick it's not very cool. It's just a lot of uncomfortable work and stress. Shows about the weirdos who smoke a lot of weed on the other hand are fun. Growing it? Not so much.

I got a real kick today about all the recreational pot industry people in California who are complaining about the industry suddenly being unfair. Reason being, I tried to reach out and get something going down south and they said I had no idea what I was talking about and how much Cali is so much different and if I wasn't making 100% margin I was out of my league.

You only make that kind of margin in pot if your business is fed by the black market. They didn't want to listen and now they're fucked.

I wish I had the extra money to short those stupid fucking pot IPOs though. Would have been the easiest money I ever made.

I remember people saying how Med Men was corporate weed... No, just a couple of con men selling a fairy tale to people who don't know how pot works. It's not a magic crop where you can charge whatever the fuck you want. Pot primadonna's are everywhere and almost all of them are full of shit. Is it clean? Does it taste good? Does it get you high? Can you grow enough and sell it fast enough to cover your expenses? Great. If nothing goes wrong, you might not go out of business in the first year.

Re-watching the first season of the What We Do in the Shadows tv series.

It's so funny. I normally never re-watch anything but this show is comedy gold.

                  Colin Robinson is the best.

Yes. It's not even good propaganda. And the CIA is easily the most evil federal agency to ever exist.

I don't think you want to live in a world that didn't have the CIA during the Cold War. Compared to the KGB the CIA was tame as a kitten.

                          No. It's the IRS.

I don't remember the IRS destroying dozens of countries for corporate interests and not doing exactly what America wants them to.

We live in the post X-Files reality. Government fearmongering has been a hip trend for more than 30 years now.

It kind of works against you to not trust the government just a little. This one, I mean, not the dystopian one in your head.

Don't you say any more bad things about Jack Ryan, either. You love that show, and I know it.
