Canonically she was 9 when everything started. In the novels 4 years have passed. In the show 7.

Cobra Kai season 2. Been fun so far.

Overall it was pretty good, though not as good as season one. It never really developed the kind of conflict that you had in season 1, and ended on too many cliff hangers. It totally needed another episode or two.

Also there was some stuff that happened in the last episode that I'm not sure could be done legally:

John Kreese just takes over Cobra Kai, and while I guess that could work as far as rent goes with the slum Lord, I was pretty sure Johnny had registered Cobra Kai as a business, and I don't think Kreese could just take that over
