What shows have you binge-watched?

It was a John Wick Jason Bourne mash up, in which none the characters ever got the development they needed or deserved.

Well, to me it seemed like they whole point was not to develop the characters, just engage in gratuitous violence with some soft porn thrown in. Everybody was supposed to be a caricature of something.

I did like (and figure out) that the neighbor character was somehow related to the assassin, before it was revealed in the movie.

Was a nice twist. Seems like they left it set up for sequal.

Well it was based on a webcomic that had no dialogue. So I guess it had better character development than the source material.

I just got finished with the one where one one of the space elves trys to betray the humansby forcing everyone to merge with metal from the corpse of Mecha-Godzilla.

The third one ties everything up nicely.

Well I just finished it. I'm not sure watching Godzilla get sucked off by three gigantic glowing tapeworms for 45min counts as a kaiju fight. It was boring as fuck, and then at the very end the main character puts his comatose girlfriend in a mech and kamikaze's godzilla for like no reason, leaving his pregnant child bride to fend for herself. Nothing was accomplished. Worst unironic series ever. I want those 4.5hrs of my life back.

Finished season 1 of Titans on the Flix. For a first run, I didn't think it was that bad. Which will probably mean it's going to be cancelled and replaced with something else that'll also get cancelled.

So far, the ability to recreate the look and feel of TOS is EXCELLENT. Still in episode 1, though...

I have a cold and chills so I spent the whole day binge watcing anime&netflix.

Some great animes I recommend:
- The promised neverland, don't look it up. Just watch the first episode... the big plot twist was crazy and is the first time I felt creeped out in a long time (even better than a adult horror film)
- The Journey of a shield hero, about a very misunderstood and highly underestimated hero who can only use defensive moves in battle. Lots of RPG references.
- That time I was reincarnated as a slime, ever watch an anime and think "why doesn't the main character just do this?" this anime will relieve that OCD
- My favorite out of all of these... JoJo's bizarre adventure, get ready for tons of music and pop culture references from the 70s to present. The most creative anime I've seen i terms of clutch moments and fight IQ. The beginning is slow but it's worth every second. The anime changes each season.


Netflix?
I binge watched "The Punisher". I get bored pretty fast of gloomy T.V shows where the main character is your stereotypical bad ass with a deep raspy voice. How ever, I could keep watching Punisher. Finished S1 and looking forward to S2. Also, what's up with romantic scenes in action films? the dude has a stick up his butt and they have this boring monotone conversation full of catchy one liners then the next scene is them making love. In real life that is so try hard and cringey.

I just rewatched the original Flatliners. Still a great movie. I have not seen the reboot, yet.

Bird Box wan't that bad. It wasn't good but it wasn't terrible either.

I have to admit the new season of Star Trek Discovery is awesome and surprisingly dark while maintaining a strange OS vibe.
Captain Pike is just about my favorite Captain now ... admitting that is tough.
