Not according to interviews with the show runners. I guess we will see in season three, but seriously, the Netflix marvel shows have been garbage. Season two of Jessica Jones was just horrible. Luke Cage was good until the end, though at the same time you have to ask if Bushmaster is a villain, why isn't Punisher, and that is where the whole thing gets existentially convoluted in that they blur the lines between heroes and villains. We'll see what happens in Iron Fist 2 and Dare Devil 3.

I watched Season 2 of Jessica, it was OK, not as good as season 1, though.
I found the end of Luke Cage to be kind of anticlimactic, in a way. I was like, now what ? Who is the new "villain" now that Mariah is dead by a burning kiss from her own daughter, who was the product of incestuous rape by her great-uncle ?
Bushmaster was similar to Mariah, really, a victim turned villain.
Isn't the proper term "anti-hero" instead of villain ? I think the writers probably purposely muddy the waters in Luke Cage (and other shows in the same vein). Basically, one can read into various depths of of the story depending on level of soberness and life experience.
I've been watching Wynonna Earp, lately, too. Talk about formulaic...demons, T&A, guns, witches, etc., designed to entertain the whole millenial man-child crowd for sure.
Talk about your indulgences...

When the guy suicided himself on the piece of fence/rebar early on, I was like, nope, that's it for me. Plus the guy getting the beatdown and then his head smashed in the door of the SUV...
I guess I've got my limitations. You could argue that for example, Wynonna Earp has a similar level of...grossness, but it's just not at the level of raw violence, I guess...demons, supernatural, etc. Plus T&A, maybe that is the spoonfull of sugar...

Better to say, I really don't need to watch that level of violence, for sure not on a regular basis.

Jurassic World 2, however, was jus more of humans being stupid and getting killed by dinos. Absolutely nothing new in the story exceptSpoiler:the ability to clone humans.
