10th season of Dr Who is pissing me off.

To my great delight and surprise, my wife discovered Fawlty Towers, and decided she likes it.
A show that is just as funny now as when I first saw it 30 years or so ago.
Maybe she will take a shine to Monty Python next.
Too much to hope for, really.
I might as well hope that she wakes up and decides she likes the hunting channel.

Has anyone worked through Falling Skies? I’m half way through season two and it’s... okay. It’s quite twee and the charactets never really develop. Does it get any better?

I gave up when David Tennant. Something about him just pisses me off, and I'm not terribly interested in going back and starting over. Or, if I did, I'd have to go all the way back to 1963...

Finished 3 just now and it's certainly picked up the pace. I like what they've done with the Dr. Smith character. Changing him from a borderline pervert to a female scumbag was a great move.

Watched like 4 episodes of Daredevil, or as I call it "the Wilson Fisk dating show."

Why do audiences insist that episodes of action TV-shows be so goddamn long today that the showmasters add tons of unneccesary scenes that nobody in their right mind could give a fuck about? Cut those 50 minute episodes down to like 35 and the show quality would improve tremendously.
