I'm through episode 5, my watching has been a little curtailed, of late. Expect to get through final tonight. In the mean time, thought you might enjoy this (I snagged the headline, haven't read it, yet)

Consider for a moment that there is no meme about brown-haired, brown-eyed step children.

I also enjoyed the Nike connection to the situation, and the daughter of the Senator killed at Jonestown being a sanyassin - in hindsight, some of this stuff is just so odd that it doesn't seem like it really happened. I was just young enough to not really know any of this stuff, but I remember Reagan's run for prez? We marched around the playground at recess chanting "out with Carter, in with Reagan." I would have been 6, at the time. I guess I do kinda shelter my kids from some of the more strange happenings in today's world, so it's probably a genetic condition.

Silvertooth was my favorite, that little redneck fella in the overalls. He just oozes wisdom and good humor. I used to study The Occult with every ounce of seriousness... and then studied cults. The Rajneeshees are still very much referenced in both circles of study and strangely enough you never really heard about Rajneeshpuram. They have tried to erase that chapter of their history.

It's now a Christian dude ranch. The place looks pretty slick from the Google sat view. And, yeah, Silvertooth he's a funny little guy, I really like his personality and blunt wit.

About halfway through the final episode of WWC, though I'd throw this out for Monkey shinings: http://www.vulture.com/2018/03/wild-...-they-now.html Looked it up because Swami Prem Niren seems like a wholly likeable and reasonable, smart lawyerly dude, and I was curious what he was into, these days. Well, everyone in the series seems both lucid and reasonable, on camera. If the docuseries was the only evidence at trial, I think I'd have a hard time with deciding.

Totally forgot about the Godfather link, that was also a nifty.

The Scary TruthTM is that crazy people and otherwise famous people rub elbows a little too often for comfort. We're reaping that, in Trump, but also in many other places - he's got no corner on the WTF market, he's just current.

Working on a marathon of My Hero Academia. It's pretty much anime X-Men where Magneto won, but it's a very polished tribute to everything that makes a good Shonen series.

We just finished WWC ourselves. Man that was a wild ride. I enjoyed it.

I am so glad others found it as enlightening and entertaining as I did. The girlfriend was freaking out the whole time because she had NO IDEA anything like that had gone down. People need to be aware that the world is an amazing, lively, confusing, and complex place. Our Civic Duty is to keep making it so.

                          Fucking Silvertooth is my hero.

If I have free time I'm going to spend it watching Pentagon Jr beat the fuck out of Vampiro with a chair before drenching him in gasoline and threatening to set him on fire if he doesn't accept a challenge. THat's my right as a free American goddammit.
