We made the mistake of binge watching the first season of 24.

Don't try it. My wife had to go on Xanax for a while after that.

I was meh on Metalhead. I did like the B&W and directorial style, but the story didn't work for me.
Consider for a moment that there is no meme about brown-haired, brown-eyed step children.

I have this killer robot dog fetish... people are sooooo lucky I am poor.
I don't mean to sound bitter, cold, or cruel, but I am, so that's how it comes out.

"Never believe that anti-Semites are completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies. They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge. But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words. The anti-Semites have the right to play. They even like to play with discourse for, by giving ridiculous reasons, they discredit the seriousness of their interlocutors. They delight in acting in bad faith, since they seek not to persuade by sound argument but to intimidate and disconcert. If you press them too closely, they will abruptly fall silent, loftily indicating by some phrase that the time for argument is past."

I'll probably start S3 later in the week, I'll let you know how I feel about that episode.

Brought the girlfriend to drunken tears. Apparently loser dads speak a universal language that extend beyond the borders of countries and culture.

That was a neat episode. I caught sight of several props from earlier episodes.

The 1st season was really fun. The 2nd season wasn't as good as the 1st but still pretty good TV. Downhill after that.

We just finished S7 of Game of Thrones, Punisher, The Sinner and the 2nd season of Wanted (Aussie show). My son gave me Westworld on BluRay for Christmas, so that is probably next. Stellar Canuck series Mary Kills People and Cardinal are both back on for their second season, so we are following those week by week.

24 is just torture after extended viewing. Literally....you have 24 hours, get to torturing.

Frank Castle doesn't need Jack Bauer, or the CTU.

Wife and I watched it live, sort of. It always seemed to air on either her school night, or my pool night. So, one of us always watched 24 twice, because the online episodes would go up the next day. Then, we got the DVDs. Anyone remember "this episode of 24 is brought to you commercial-free by Ford." That was really the beginning of binge-watching, for us. I need to watch them again, I always liked that show.

Star Trek Minority Discovery kicked off from the mid season break with both barrels.
                        Definitely not low-energy.

About 75% done with Bad Internet (Red original series, from the CollegeHumor crowd). Dovetails nicely with Black Mirror, they are two sides of the same coin. About to start season 3 of Black Mirror, which is my final season, until S5 comes out.

You obviously are on a different plane of consciousness. I haven't been able to rectify those two episodes as related. Of the two, S3E3 was my favorite. But, I just finished S3E4...

                              Spoiler:
I dig the happy endings, when they aren't too sappy, and it was touch and go there for the last 20 minutes, so really heart-wrenching shit

Also, Nosedive and Playtest were great. I think S3 is the best season, and I have 2 episodes left. I don't think they can do S5. I really think they shot their wad with S3, and S4 was just a money play.
