    I am intrigued.

I'm gonna drop a REAL stinker now.

The local conspiracy nutters are all flared up on this, yet my bs detector exploded after first contact with the article. Still I can't help but to be intrigued, and would love some more solid info from the people who live closer or know more and if they could provide some solid info, that would be wargasmic /for the sake of pwning the local douches. Because I just CAN'T believe anything like this could even be remotely possible.

Is there any truth in rumors of those FEMA camps fitted with plastic casket like boxes?
I was given to read an article in Croatian language how homeless people are now herded to FEMA facilities and are disappearing off the streets in city of Columbia, all over state of South Carolina, in Boston,...
There's a claim that the homeless are given a choice to go to prison or into camp.

There were some videoclips attached (I haven't even taken time to watch this sh+t yet...) so feast your eyes.

    It's total bullkrap RIGHT? RIGHT??

In most big cities, there's already several laws that police can cite to scoop up the homeless, so this seems excessive. Incarcerating the homeless in these camps requires a lot of money, and doesn't improve the lives of the homeless one bit, so I'm not sure how this is supposed to solve anything (unless their plan is to secretly disappear them from camps, which has been a popular conspiracy theory for decades). I don't think the solution to homelessness is further ostracizing and isolating the homeless even further; I believe a real solution should be doing the opposite of that.

If you actually sit down and talk with some homeless people, lots already have at least one story about the cops scooping them up and taking them somewhere that sucks where you get lice and a cold from the close quarters. Is this a more extreme example of that, or is it business as usual but now people care? I dunno. Can they really not leave, or can they just not go back downtown? Can they just get dropped off in a suburb "where my mom lives" then take the bus back downtown?

What's necessary is to provide the homeless with the option to live in permanent housing that meets minimal standards of safety and hygiene, and then maybe some could be convinced to stay. This costs money, but if you listen to the business community's concerns, having them on the street costs money too in the long run, if they negatively impact businesses and reduce tax revenues.

Brings up the old issue of personal rights vs. the Nanny State. Not an easy problem -- some of these people actually want to live on the street, some are too mentally ill to make a rational choice, and some aggressive panhandlers actually are dangerous to others.

However, I don't think the government is making anyone disappear. The government is not competent enough to conduct an operation like that and keep it secret.

What's necesary is providing homeless with perspective! I don't have a good feeling about those camps, but let's not be too hasty and let's believe it's all for their good and FEMA doesn't have any nasty hidden agenda.

I think most of the homeless are just common people who had a lot of bad luck (no more psychopats than in other communities and social/economic groups). Don't need to go all Phil Elmore on them, though I can believe that dire need of food can push even a most decent ethic/moral sturdy man into crime.

These homeless people are pussies. Always whining. Boo hoo hoo. The cops are mean to me. Boo hoo hoo. How about some personal fucking responsibility?

I went through a tough spell once and got rousted off the street by some king shit cop. Did I whine and make Youtube videos about it? Fuck no. I kicked the shit out of those cops, took back my personal property, stole a dirtbike and disappeared into the mountains.

                Fuckers came after me. Mistake!

A lot of people judged me for my actions but they drew first blood.

This would make a great movie, and I'm quietly sourcing actors, on the sly as it were.

Anything new on this front? What happens with homeless there? What options are they given? Anyone knows?

No a lot of the FEMA camp stories have been debunked.

I thought so, I still pretty much can't believe such things could be happening... Because y' know there was a land in space and time where unwonted genetic material was executed (mental disabilities included) and I just can't believe the people would be so stupid to say to something like that 'Oh what a neat solution, let's send them to camp and concentrate!' again.

So homeless are just pushed out of the cities (that seems very unfair also) - maybe datained for a while - where they're illegal and not locked somewhere?

Dude I'm Slavic, we were unwanted genetic material also. And I'm not opening this can of worms any more. It was almost 100 years ago.
