Before this, Cubans, (black guys fluent in Spanish) ran the drugs in parts of Albuquerque. The Cubans just kill the Mexicans, so as long as a person doesn't get in between any of that stupid stuff its just like any other town.

Ok, so DCS- if you inferred that I meant something pejorative, defined as Cubans and/or Mexicans, let me clarify for you.

New Mexico has a rich history, over 400 years, of Spanish influence- those that have lived here for a generation or so refer to themselves as Hispanics, and I am one of those by marriage. (Santa Fe is the oldest state capital in the US)

The Spanish speaking blacks reference, is a local gang that sell drugs, (that hail from Cuba and they compete with the Juarez or Sinaloa's cartel from Mexico, 'Mexicans', or their distribution system) The differentiation is not that complicated, except the Cubans do not hesitate to walk up and shoot 'anyone' or any person on their street corner, while the cartel types are much more careful about how and who they shoot- according to local law, US Marshals and Border patrol. Yeah and I stand corrected- poor post on my part, I neglected to take into consideration this site has thousands on it outside my area of the US Southwest, and will be more concise next time and create the data for you.
