It is an impressive feat. I am not up to date on either EU Star Wars or Marvel comics. I do know that both characters have some incredible feats. I was hoping with the nice little nerd population here I would draw out some of the more knowledgeable people on both sides.

I know Sidious has some really incredible feats of psychic domination. I just am not knowledge enough on the specifics to argue them.

That being said I really would like to hear some of the experts that I know are lurking around here to weigh in before I am convinced one way or the other.

Agree with Fake on the Darth Sidious Vs. Prof. X showdown. Physically, Sidious would dominate Xavier but put to a psychic battle, Prof. X would have him in tears.

I reckon Alucard (with all CARS levels released) would pull Blade apart in a matter of moments. With the control systems in place? Could be anyones fight.

Sidious' mind was unreadable to all of the Jedi Council including Saesee Tiin whom was a gifted telepath. In fact Sidious's mind was also unreadable to his own master Darth Plagueis.

Phoenix force is a cosmic entity that can destroy planets. Sidious needed a Death Star to do the same thing. Professor X shut down the mutants wielding that power. The five wielding the power were trained, by Xavier himself, to be nearly impervious to mind control.
