Why does everyone focus on the worst of Canada's contributions to the world of music? There is also awesomeness:

Plus GSP, Carlos Newton, Gary Goodridge, Sam Stout, Rory MacDonald, Patrick Cote', Tommy Burns, George Chuvalo, Yvan Durelle, Trevor Berbick, Razor Ruddick, Lennox Lewis (though the Brits'll fight you for him), Arturo Gatti, Lucian Bute, about a million great hockey players and comics, etc.

So, just relax, guys. Everybody loves ya. Plus, thanks for building that bridge between Windsor and Detroit. The asshole who owns the other one spent a ton of money spreading lies about it, and it is mighty neighborly of you to go ahead and build it at no cost to us when over a third of the people of Detroit had been tricked into voting against a free, all-North American steel, all Canadian-US labor-built bridge as an alternative connection to Detroit's most important trade partner instead of the collapsing, high-toll, privately owned choke point between us.

I'd say you've more than paid us back for all the STDs Pam Anderson allegedly carries back and forth among our lesser musical luminaries.

If you don't want me to comment on your painfully inept attempts at humor don't aim them in my direction. Seriously, you attempt to insult me and get butthurt when I insult you back? Pathetic.

                You left out Neil Young:

Although I respect the man, I'm not the hugest fan. What I did leave out was The Guess Who, which is somewhat unforgivable.

As I am sitting here waiting between classes listening to probably THE most Canadian musician to ever have lived I see you fuckers cocking about not knowing what's what.

Hey, give me some credit. I'm not from Canada, much less Alberta, and I threw up the Corb Lund.

I wouldn't call myself a fan but he's probably the most famous canadian musician that doesn't suck.

If we're talking the most "Canadian" musician:

I guess you and I are just going to have to disagree because I just can't stand country music, I'll take the folk stylings of Stan Rogers any day. Plus he died in a boat fire; i don't know why but that just feels like a really Canadian kind of death to me.

I worded it wrong. I wasn't trying to argue who was better. I just think Tom was more overt in his "Canadianism"

edit: By that I mean Tom is more identifiable as Canadian to people outside the country.

Nobody here has bothered to maximize the 'ghey'.
