      Somebody sent this to me.

Supposedly this is a mashup of Toto's ([PS: actually, Brian Eno's "Prophecy" solo]) score for Lynch's Dune, The Dark Crystal, and some unidentified kung fu movie.

      Lyrically, this was pretty interesting.

You might be wondering "who's the drummer" (no, not the conga player with the 'fro, Michael Carabello); that's Michael Shrieve, Rolling Stone's Best Drummer of All Time #10.

I'm so into you, I can barely breathe
And all I wanna do is to fall in deep
But close ain't close enough 'til we cross the line
So name a game to play, and I'll roll the dice

The (arguably) best track off of Soundgarden's 1994 breakout album, which included other smash hits such as "Black Hole Sun" and "Spoonman".

Effortlessly one of the best albums in rock history, let alone the 1990's.

I posted it because there's a lot of discussion online right now about this song being about suicide. The song is actually about a crow that slammed into the side of Chris' house one morning, which he had to euthanize it with a brick. Some suggest the crow is actually a metaphor for Kurt Cobain.

Either way, given recent events this could be considered the deepest song of the grunge era, on what some consider its magnum opus.

                            Safe outside my gilded cage
                            With an ounce of pain
I wield a ton of rage
                            Just like suicide

                            With eyes of blood
                            And bitter blue
                            How I feel for you
                            I feel for you
Soundgarden being the touring powerhouse they became, there are a number of alternate themes to the song.
