Five years ago they were playing for change on the streets of Hilo. Last week they sold out the Palace Theater two nights. This is musical medicine; live they rock and we dance and sing. Brenda and I were maybe the oldest couple, but wtf. We were in Honoka'a a year or two ago and wanted to see Leche de Tigre an Afro Cuban rocking band. So we went to the People's Theater and Leche was opening for Medicine for the People, who blew us away. Live (and they ARE touring the west coast starting next week) they rock. Here's the spiritual side and it's a beautiful video - to weeks ago I turned the pretty young thing on the airplane onto it and she was turned on; you can probably trick some pretty young thing into thinking that you are a sensitive caring soul who's worth fucking, just by playing her this video!
