I'm trying to listen to the new Doomtree album, but it's not going well. Those choruses are truly, "6-dudes-just-yelling-in-the-booth," awful.

Still enjoying Red Fang's (still kinda) new album, though.

Against Me! Because my 22 year old son is controlling the music. Has anyone heard of Against Me!? Seems pretty good. I've been listening to a lot of Hendrix for some reason. His Maui show is online:

Ah Jimi....exuberant performance in a poor film. I saw it at the cinema and the video. A poor film salvaged by the stage performance by the Electric Guitar virtuoso.

Anyway, I've never seen this film but I have a clear memory of listening to this in the Pub. Great audio and this brings it out. I saw the original vid recently but the sound isn't as good (just as well as it's a poor vid as well).

A young woman doing old style Hawaiian, very well. Her Uncle George was a great muscian, died young and tragically.

Oh and the Rainbow Bridge isn't the same as the Hendrix movie. It's, I believe, the entire concert - with silly psychedelic effects and surf shots etc.

It's a bit of a sad song, but I love this performance. Local artist done good in my opinion.

Once again, child person (divorced living with us...) has his turn. I was playing Marc Bolan / T Rex, now it's El Camino by Black Keys, being played (for free) on Grooveshark. I'd never heard of Grooveshark. I don't understand how they pay for it.
