It's funny how Ministry, of all bands would have one of the most unknown/underappreciated pop hits of the 80's, but here it is.

What a great album, With Sympathy 1983.

This is what the death of disco sounded like.

Thought you noticed every time but you didn't notice a thing
I'd have to cover up my calls when the telephone would ring
I'm tired of you and the things you do and all the things you say

I cannot downvote Ministry. Well played.

Works radio is original as always with Despacito, Ed Sheeran and other overplayed shite, so I switched it to classic rock and got some AC/DC going.

                9 more hours to go

having just finished the masterpiece that was Nier Automata I'm giving the soundtrack a go through without the sound of mass slaughtering adorable machines over the top of it

This is my favorite, off the same album. Sonic Temple is a masterpiece, and this band has several of those.

Fun fact: the name of the band is taken from Southern Death Cult, Ian Astbury's gothic punk band.

I forgot how great some of Astbury's pre-Cult work actually was...damn.

God Bless the Internet because without it, this music would be lost forever.

The magazines used to call this "positive punk". Yes, that's exactly what I need right now.

A modern revisitation of a traditional southern Italian dance, linked to semi magic traditions, as the "saint Vitus dance" was supposed to cure some (probably psychogenic) illnesses.
