      Cliff Richard, 1976.

I've had nothing but bad luck
Since the day I saw the cat at my door
So I came into you sweet lady
      Answering your mystical call

      Crystal ball on the table
      Showing the future, the past
Same cat with them evil eyes
And I knew it was a spell she cast

      She's just a devil woman
      With evil on her mind
      Beware the devil woman
      She's gonna get you...
      She's just a devil woman
      With evil on her mind
      Beware the devil woman
She's gonna get you from behind...

Give me the ring on your finger
Let me see the lines on your hand
I can see me a tall dark stranger
Giving you what you hadn't planned

I drank the potion she offered me
I found myself on the floor
Then I looked in those big green eyes
And I wondered what I came there for...

      She's just a devil woman
      With evil on her mind
      Beware the devil woman
      She's gonna get you...
      She's just a devil woman
      With evil on her mind
      Beware the devil woman
She's gonna get you from behind...

If you're out on a moonlit night
Be careful of them neighbourhood strays
Of a lady with long black hair
Tryin' to win you with her feminine ways

      Crystal ball on the table
      Showing the future, the past
Same cat with them evil eyes
You'd better get out of there fast...

      She's just a devil woman
      With evil on her mind
      Beware the devil woman
      She's gonna get you...
      She's just a devil woman
      With evil on her mind
      Beware the devil woman
      She's gonna get you...

      She's just a devil woman
      With evil on her mind
      Beware the devil woman
      She's gonna get you...
      She's just a devil woman
      With evil on her mind
      Beware the devil woman
      She's gonna get you...

      She's just a devil woman
      With evil on her mind
      Beware the devil woman
      She's gonna get you...
      She's just a devil woman
      With evil on her mind
      Beware the devil woman
      She's gonna get you...

Another Cliff Richard and the Shadows classic.

          These guys influenced John Lennon.

The original Bert Weedon version...not nearly as powerful, but definitely striking.

In honor of my sling being off and being able to do leg work at the gym (press, extension, curls, calves on leg press and crunches, cant hold a squat bar atm)

I listened to an interview with him before the election. Was quite interesting, he dissects what Trump does and how.

Not sure that was a good analysis anymore...

Chester Bennington (RIP) played "Hallelujah" at Chris Cornell's funeral.

Sometimes it just doesn't seem real.

Hybrid Theory was the first CD I bought in San Francisco. Wasn't a huge listener anymore, but still, damn.

Chester killed it with STP too, I was surprised.

I guess there was something inside him lurking just beneath the surface. Perhaps confusing what was real? A terrible loss either way. He tried so hard, got so far, and in the end, it didn't even matter.

                            I'll just let myself out.

This was the Viking funeral they gave Oderus of Gwar (no, Dave Brockie's corpse was not actually on the boat).

It doesn't surprise me that these really conflicted artists kill themselves off one way or another. There's a multi-decade history of this.

What I lament is how obvious it is they need help and how it never seems to work out. Cornell and Bennington left kids behind, they're the real victims.

Yeah, the kids thing gets me right in the guts.
