While looking at job hunting sites saw one company was looking for a Senior Black Belt.

SUMMARY OF POSITION: Work across a range of projects to drive process improvements. Lead cross functional problem solving teams. Ability to resolve product quality issues and work with problem solving tools

Sounds a little like their putting together some type of ninja death squad!

Boring reality: It's a black belt from Six Sigma, here's the wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Six_Sigma

That is a very shitty job posting, probably from someone just looking to get contact info for direct advertising or headhunters and not an actual job at all.

Crushing Step

I agree, that job posting is total **** and is basically the broad description copy and paste of what a six sigma black belt is.

My wife was excited to be trained at work on her green belt...rest assured they taught her nothing that I couldn't solve with my TKD green belt.

They dont't even get kata or dobook.

ughhh, I hate that Sigma bullshit. I wrote a story about it about a year ago, because, for whatever fucking reason, the Army believes it is "teh d34dly" in management. A black belt in BJJ would be much more interesting.

I'm not looking forward to dealing with the sigma crap, as stated before Real BB's are a better motivator.
