Usually the military channel has something interesting to watch, and one of it's shows, Greatest Ever, is particularly enlightening in terms of what was the "best" and why. The show usually focuses on things that kill people.

In one episode they focused on weapons in general and ranked everything from boomerangs, to bows and arrows, to the AK-47. Can you guess which all-time greatest "weapon" made the top of the list?

YouTube - Simon Lau, Wing Chun - Nun Teaching Demonstration (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ip1HzXHJfg)

Those AK-47 wielding terrorists aren't gonna know what hit em!

Soon drill instructors will tell recruits that they'll be "practicing sticky hand" from now on.

This is old. They would've convinced me better if they'd just wrote "Russians" instead of the whole nun thing.

There's a better one I found (and recorded, but lost the dvd) of the best chinese weapons. The best was a sort of frizbee hat that you threw onto people's heads. The bottom dropped off around their neck (sort of like a ringtoss), and after this you could pull a cord which would send all these blades in the hoop to decapitate the person.

Really hard to explain, and quite possibly fictional. But it was entertaining.
