4/17/2009 3:43pm,

I'm sure everyone knows about this already, but just in case anyone else cares, World Tai Chi day will be held next Sat. 4/25/09 at 10am. So to all of the Tai Chi hippies out there, do a form on that day at that time. I guess just for the hell of it. It is supposed to bring awareness and promote Tai Chi thought the world.

World Tai Chi & Qigong Day, with the help of local schools, groups, and associations in 65 nations, organizes a global healing wave of mass Tai Chi & Chi Kung (Qigong) exhibitions in hundreds of cities in 65 nations spanning 6 continents, held each year on the last Saturday of April.

So if you are going to do Tai Chi on that day anyway, you may as well do it at that time. Then go back to punching on the bag!

That's cool that they made this when we normally have Taiji classes anyway. I guess I'll participate by default.

4/17/2009 4:00pm,
Yeah, I think a lot of people will be participating without realizing it! But hey, you take em when you can get em.

For Great Chi Kung! All your Pushing the Mountain and Tiger Plays with Ball belong to World Tai Chi Day. I shall participate, wonder if my instructors know about this?

I shall celebrate this day
By moving very slowly

This is what you are supposed to read at the opening of the "ceremony":

Dear World Tai Chi & Qigong Day Supporters & Participants,

This global wave of goodwill provides a vision of hope and healing to a world hungry for such visions. Each year to view the photos of people from different cultures, religions, and every corner of the earth . . . breathing together . . . in this global Tai Chi & Qigong movement . . . is profound.

When you look thru the photographs and videos you see that "look" on people's faces, a look that conveys a feeling that all of us who've experienced the well-being that Qi, or life energy, expands through our mind and body when we make the space to breathe . . . and to let, calm, and wellness expand thru us.

When you see that look in all these diverse faces, from so many different lands, you can't help but deeply realize that we are indeed "one world . . . and, . . . one breath."

We are all connected by the field of life energy that physicists are now discovering permeates all existence.

By emersing ourselves in the field of life energy again and again, we become more and more grounded in the absolute reality that . . . we are all connected . . . all part of the web of life. And, by cultivating and growing the realization personally and globally, we may help in a subtle quiet way to usher in a more elegant future that nurtures us all in ways we cannot yet even imagine.

Again, thank you for making this extraordinary event and health movement possible thru your organizing and participation each year.

This lady is going to put on a show of her blasphemous REGISTERED TRADEMARK taiji in the park I sometimes practice in this Saturday, for World Tai Chi Day.

Should I gong sau?

4/22/2009 8:46pm,
So she took Tai Chi and changed the names and now has her own Tai Chi? Why go through all that trouble? Weird!

Yeah, you should gong sau!! But she probably calls it something else. She does say that they have "lively discussions"!

4/24/2009 2:50pm,
Don't forget about this tomorrow. We are going to unite the world's Chi, and thus cause it to explode!!

Sorry, d00dz, I'm out. My taiji class is cancelled this week.

4/24/2009 3:40pm,
Damn it, we need that Chi...maybe there will be some residuals floating around.

No, my chest is hairier, and I promise to be MUCH drunker. He was fucking sober in that movie. So was the old man. So was the mute guy he killed... why the **** is there "Drunken" in that title... ripoff

4/24/2009 4:54pm,
I was actually thinking the same thing. If I get too drunk tonight, I will either do drunken Tai Chi or hung over Tai Chi.

I hope no one else gets drunk when their sober Chi connects with my drunk Chi. I may very well pollute the whole freaking Chi pool!
