Hey, was wondering if you guys know anything about SAW - "Submission Arts Wrestling"??
I've done some searching but haven't really found much at all. A guy who i used to learn MMA from in Redcliffe here, claimed to have been graded in SAW and asked members of the class if they would like to be graded also.
He was a 3rd dan in Goju and trained Muay thai in thailand, all of which were backed up by photographic evidence so i'm not questioning his legitimacy....

However when i asked him what SAW was, he said it's a mixture of "judo and ground jujitsu" and wouldn't really tell me anymore when i asked where he learned it or who taught him. It's been almost a year since i've been to him as i've been training at a Judo club, however i've considered going back and it reminded me of SAW....has anyone here heard of this or studied in it?
Thanks

So, if you are looking to learn martial arts the way it is supposed to be, the spartan way, look no further.

That is their web site but I don't speak Japanese.

That is the book he wrote.

Otherwise I don't see anything else. Looks like it originated in Japan. Tried to translate the page but that didn't work well.
