A nice clip put together by a historical fencing school in Germany, showing the way fighters trained for longsword duels during the late Middle Ages. Flexibility, balance, strength, endurance, diet, rest and skills training are all shown via live action and quotes and pictures from Hans Talhoffer's 1500s combat treatise.

Also, if it wasn't so tired already, a tattoo of Talhoffer's wisdoms-in period text-would be pretty cool on the inside of your shield arm :)

The techniques look interesting, but I'd be more interested in more actual-fighting type stuff before I passed judgement on how capable the art or the teachers were.
