So recently I have come across a new Mixed Martial Arts school website. The name of the school is TNT Destruction Squad, and it is a low budget website that was put together by a bunch of guys who role around on the ground with each other and call themselves martial artists. If you look through the bios of these gentleman, they have all studied numerous types of martial arts but have only gotten up to a certain belt level, and then moved on to another style. I mean why wouldn't you finish the style out and become a black belt in that style? I guess they think that if they trained in that certain style for a couple of months they have mastered it, and can teach it to anyone. If you look at the pictures that they have up, you can see a few of the belt colors that they have acheived (ie. yellow, blue... you know the basic colors) but if you look harder at the picture, you can see a certificate that has their T.N.T logo on it. Apperantly they promote each other.... which means that the rest of us martial artists who have worked hard for our ranks could have just made a certificate up for ourselves, and call oursleves a black belt. The best part of this school, is that they train in their living room, but they charge $250 to train with them. Why on earth would you charge someone so much just to train in your living room? You can do that in the privacy of your own home for free. A couple of days ago a friend of mine emailed this organization to let them know that they really need to work on the spelling of the styles they have taken. For someone who has studied all these styles, one would think they know how to spell them. The response to that email was that they are just so busy with their training and they do not have enough time "to get all right all of the time". Another great thing about this website is they have their records posted on the site for people to look at. I would like to bring to everyone's attention T.J.'s record is 0-0-0 for MMA but yet this organization is charging people $250 to train with someone who has never fought, and has no experience. Although his point sparring is very impressive 72-1.... sounds fishy to me. The school will be hosting an event within a month of each other... which is fantastic but when one calls the hotel to get more information about it, they do not even have them in their events calendar. I encourage everyone to google in T.N.T Destruction Squad it is a great website to check out and to get a good laugh at the bull **** credentials that people claim to have in the martial arts world.

BLAH! OK here are some tips if you wish to coninue to use the internet. These are pretty general tips that everyone should use when engaging in electronic comunications such as email, forums, etc.

Do you see what I just did here for this sentance? I pushed the <enter> key twice, which creates a new PARAGRAPH. A paragraph is a subdivision of a text intended to separate ideas. Not only will it help bring clarity to your ideas it will make your text easier to read and we may take your post more seriously.

You may want to consider referencing your topic in the form of a "link". You talk about this school yet don't provide a website for us to check. What a tease! Perhaps I want to check out these idiots for myself.

Also, read the stickies before you post. It will give you a better idea of how things run at this site.

It appears to me that these guys have a pipe dream of starting a studio.
I think they are pinning all thier hopes on these events and winning the mma event to give them enough street cred and money to get a proper studio.
They aren't even worth worrying about they might have real good training but I doubt it.Also they aren't following the most stable business model around.

T.J. HAS STUDIED VARIOUS FORMS OF MARTIAL ARTS FOR MOST OF HIS LIFE. HE HAS ACHIEVED A 1ST DAN BLACK SASH IN WU-SU SHAOLIN GUNG-FU, AND A BLACK SASH EQUIVALENT IN MUAY THAI. HE HAS STUDIED TAE KWON DO, KENSHIN KAN SHORYIN-RYU KARATE, KENPO KARATE, HAPKIDO, FREESTYLE WRESTLING, BRAZILIAN JU-JITSU, AND IS CURRENTLY A SEMPAI (ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR) IN A BUJINKAN MARTIAL ART.
Dude's a ninja. An MMA ninja with a "black sash equivalent" in "Muay Thai".

These guys are definitely for real, or at least they think they are. One of my friends is a 3rd degree in Karate in the Pocono area and use to train one of the instructors of this "school" until he quit because the training was too intense. He then got together with his bro and brother in law( I think) and started this living room mcdojo.

Balls will get you everywhere! Fascinated with this site, so I emailed. Was told muay thai does not usually have rank but since T.J. learned in the States he could be ranked. Only
problem was, he could not get rank because he learned from a person directly from Thailand who had "immigration issues". I was also encouraged to look up Bujinkan because
he was not supposed to "say everything about it". Sounds legit to me! Go, team, go.
