It's time for my first post so here it goes:

Hello!

I have been lurking on Bullshido for awhile. Just started studying jiu-jitsu, and I am very out of shape (need weight loss and aerobic conditioning). I enjoy the site and the information it provides.

Thanks Rock Ape. I am checking out the physical conditioning. Missing a lot of my old wrestling moves for lack of conditioning. I tire out and do some horrible technique.

It is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. A brown belt is renting space at a local karate dojo and I signed up for lessons. I like the sequence of the class: about 10 minutes warmup and drills, 30 minutes of teaching technique, 20 minutes of rolling, which seems to go on well past the end of class, but I have a family and can't stay all evening. I am glad to see that those I am training with who have the time do go for the long live training sessions.
