So I wonder if any of you guys with experience in the security business has anything to say about the reasons behind this move/attempt by the Iraqi government:

Or you could try the two day old 40 post sociocide thread, which is already full of great discussion!

It's still on the sidebar for new threads even!

Actually, this thread should be fine in here since we'd love to have a few BW guys posting.

I think the ban is pretty hollow

I mean couldn't blackwater take the current government of Iraq out of office just as quick as they put them in?

Only if they want U.S. soldiers shooting at them, plus their CEO being arrested and sent to Gitmo. The current government sucks anyway. The new US strategy I hear is to focus on each province. Apparently the Iraqis don't even want a unified government at this point.

The US army and Blackwater have the same "CEO" no matter what the paperwork says. What I was saying is that's the reason it's really up to the US military if they're kicked out of Iraq - or if they leave, shuffle papers, and come back as "Darkfluid" or something.

At least it wouldn't be Whitewater. That's Clinton's project.

Their were several shooting in the last few month's including the interior minister's body guard in Iraq. I know several pss operative's in Custer Battle's and aegis Defense system's. They just massacre people they are not under the UCMJ.

So they can just kill anyone with out any law coming after them . But from what I heard their just fuckin killing anyone and everyone. They will be back the money is just to great 6 month rip 160'000 tax free.

They need them their because their are certain jobthey can do that the military can't

The should have let Simon Mann from Executive Outcome's in their and a few South African merc's in their and their problem's would be over. He did awesome in Rhodesia

Haha! Ya! More mercs would make the situation better!

And I think technically they do fall under the UCMJ. It's just never pursued.

As far as I understood the article, the Iraqis would like to see ALL private contractors' companies leave the country. Besides the coalition forces that is.

I can't access sociocide from work - blocks as suspected pornography due to language.
For some reason the blockers at work do not pick up on any content in these threadsbhere but do on sociocide. If you reintegrate it here I don't know whether or not it will be accessible from here or if I will be blocked from reading here at work. Not that it matters in the big picture.

Edited to add, contractors mercs whatever are the way to go, they are nescessary to keep things going and sending them away will just add to the chaos there.
