Thought I might as well say hello. I'm Rhea, from the UK, and training in ju-jitsu, (modern type of style) and have just started BJJ. I'll probably be lurking more than anything, since if I have nothing of value to say I might as well keep my mouth shut, huh?!
Yeah well, I'll hang around, and hopefully learn something from the BJJ forums.

Heya Rhea! Good to see you on here - the BJJ forum is easily the best thing about this site. Hopefully see you at a throwdown sometime, or if not then probably the Planet Jitsu thing (looking forward to getting some training from gremlin: shame its only 30 mins).

As you're in the UK, you might be interested in joining the throwdown group (http://groups.google.com/group/bullshidoukthrowdowns), which is intended to keep people updated on UK throwdowns (basically an open mat, if you're unfamiliar with the term). Next one is currently Grimsby (http://www.bullshido.net/forums/showpost.php?p=1472633&postcount=405) in October, and still waiting on a date and venue for one in Oxford (http://www.bullshido.net/forums/showthread.php?t=57370).

Further afield, the EuroMega is set for Bratislava (http://www.bullshido.net/forums/showthread.php?t=48854), Slovakia

Yeah, should def be clear for the PJ thing, maybe won't be able to make a TD unless it's really near to me. Lack of transport is a complete pain.

Where are you in the UK? Might well be a TD near you sometime in the future, or if there isn't, could probably try and set one up. Alternately, could be somebody driving to a TD further away who happens to pass by where you live and therefore able to offer a lift.

From near Norwich. Might be persuaded to come to London, or somewhere with a good train connection.

York? Then put a "New" in front of it to make it look better?
(I'm UK, BTW, in case anyone is wondering)
