My old gym used to have a bunch of heavy bags on a horse walking machine.

For those of you who have not seen a horse walker it's basically a big rotating post with arms.

Fantastic tool. I miss it greatly.

Hell, Anna, you could just run to the Home DeepHell, buy a cart full
of lumber and bolts, and just whip out a horse walking machine
in minutes! Nothing to it!

Or, you could go to a playground at an elementary school, steel
one of their merry-go-rounds, weld some tube steel arms to it
and attach some heavy bags. That way, you all could get a work
out and the kids have one less piece of equipment to crack
their heads on.

The robot punching bag beats the mobile speed bag hands down.

I like it, very simple idea, well put together.

I don't see why its neccessary to make it fully robotic so it can see and detect obstacles etc). I'd just mount it on a remote contol 'car' and have someone else direct it.

Unless you wanted to train at home alone in which case it would be handy.

I think its good :)

If I was smart enough to make a post rotate then I would totally have a rotating bag holder. it was so great. I miss that thing.

How much room do you have, cause it's pretty easy to set something like that up.

You could possibly buy one of those spinning laundry deals and attach your bag to it and it should be able to hold it.

You can get one of them here
