Snice there was a lot discussion about female and male sparring eachoter. I am curious about something, what is anatomy advantage of both male and female? Also what is their weak or senstive part?

Here is what I find out accord to my own observe and research (NOTHING is accurate for sure, it is just from my own observe).

Female anatomy: Usually are more flexible, can take much heavier blows (not sure if that is old wife's tale), certain bones are stronger than men (such as hips), extra ribs to protect organs, and I also have heard that female joints are different from male somehow.

Male anatomy: More muscles (stronger), tend to be larger than female, better endurance and stamina, higher killer instict remain from netherald day, higher level of hormone, and less vulnerable to attacks in many place.

weak spot on male: testicle, knees (I heard that it don't hurt female if they kneel on stick or something), and hips (male don't bear baby so their hips probably aren't as hard as female but I could be wrong)

Weak spot on female: Below the navel, face (bones structure?), breast (I am not sure about this one, I just know it is NOT acceptable to hit girl there), and ribs? (why do they have extra ribs?)

Also I would like to know some female (or JKDChick since she is only female here) opinion on what male shouldn't do with female while sparring. If I spar with female, I expect them to use what they train and not just go frenzy and scratches, bite, and act like as if I am raping her or something. But I don't really have any spot where I feel they shouldn't hit, even in the nuts.

hitting them in the lower abdomen = BAD, especially if they didn't expect it an their lower abs weren't tensed. You don't wanna hurt a girl down there and cause spotting for a few day. Not a good thing.

I haven't done it, but I try to be careful with that. Also applies to knee on belly... so you co-ed grapplers should keep that in mind. no knee drops.

I dunno, I've been kicked in the hips with a pair of steel-toed boots and all that happened was his shin bounced off me. Now, you talk on TOP of the hip bone, and it's a whole other story.

I accidently kneed a guy in the balls last night, going for an escape, and when he's recovered grinned and said "Well, that's one advantage I've got: you aren't going to be able to do that to me."

What shouldn't a guy do when sparring?

Well HE SHOULDN'T TREAT US LIKE SOME SORT OF DELICATE FUCKING FLOWER. HE SHOULD JUST FUCKING SPAR AND IF SHE CAN'T TAKE IT, IT'S HER PROBLEM.

That's just my opinon.

JKDchick, nice way to emphasize your point-- writing it 3 feet high in blood.

Drake - where did you observe such data?

Men and women do not differ in the number of ribs - with respect to bone structure, there are some differences in size. Women are more prone to knee injuries because they tend to have smaller joints but the mechanics are the same - both sexes can be double-jointed and both can be popped. Bone structure also affects flexiblity but I wouldn't say one sex is more flexible than the other - I think there are different movements that are more favourable depending on the bone structure.

I think if a girl is serious about training, guys have to treat them like any other opponent because you're not doing them any favours in preparing them for a real fight. That said, the only thing guys shouldn't do is touch girls in a sexual manner when sparring - total breach of trust and respect - expect to get your balls ripped out and fed to you.

Is that a typo ?
Obviously we have a weaker race of females in Australia. They can't take heavier blows here.... :)

"the only thing guys shouldn't do is touch girls in a sexual manner when sparring - total breach of trust and respect - "

Has this been a problem? Sometimes I'm amazed at some of the crap my gender pulls. I feel bad when I do a takedown and accidently brush a breast with my palm.

Somewhat on topic I am constantly confused by women's athletics. Why haven't more women dunked in the WNBA, is it a difference in training emphasis (some other game aspect than elevation) or what? These women are obviously tremendous atheletes and are of gigantor height (technical term.)

Apparently ESPN had something the other day about every current player in the NBA except one having verifiable dunked. Additionally 6' guys that can dunk are a dime a dozen, I just don't get it.

I don't think guys will do anything obvious but a friend told me about two guys (not anyone at my club or anyone I know) that grappled with the intention of contacting certain body parts. The females apparently didn't notice and the guys secretly got their jollies from it.

I've also been told that women have a harder time dunking because their hands are smaller so they can't palm the ball - they lose that extra potential momentum and reach.

I would have kicked their asses. On principle.

Hands smaller, makes sense as I remember a similar phenomena with the girl (1) on my H.S. water polo team.

I do wonder though if a 6'6" woman really has that small of hands though. I'm not trying to be misogynistic, just curious.

JKDC,

You do realize that both of us being Canadian, despite the fact that we will be on U.S. soil, means that you can't sue my ass when I beat you to a bloody, writhing pulp in Atl?

Just checking. *FERAL GRIN*
