Have fun with this one....

It appears Mr. Winn is a legit Force Recon Marine, and was one of the stars in the "Combat Missions" TV show.

I have not verified his fighting record he lists (not on Sherdog).

Certified blackbelt in 18 months!

Has anybody been to his school or familiar with his fight record (or at least the list of championships)?

A thing I donīt get. Can you legally in the U.S. list a credential which says "classified" as a certificate of skill?

No. Showing classified documents outside of a secure area is grounds for imprisionment.

You can call anything "classified"...you just cannot disclose the classified material itself.

In this instance, he is listing general skills. They have nothing to do with his martial arts business other than establish credibility to the masses who are impressed by his experience.

Nope, but did you see the Navy SEAL listed on the site, Scott Helvenston? That's one the Blackwater contractors that got ambushed and roasted then dismembered in Fallujah.

Thanks for the clarification PD and DD!
In Argentina, it is illegal to advertise the fact that you have been or know classified information, as it makes easier to target people whom the government trust/ed.

Cynic in me wants to say, that obviously locals werenīt aware of his deadly fighting skills. :tellme:

There are probably restrictions on advertising such information here as well, but likely more so at the top secret level. I'm really not sure.

My recollection was that both Winn and Halvenston were the biggest dicks on that show. I've never met either, and for all I know they were playing the role and/or there was some selective editting to make them look that way.
