Thank you slashdot.

Here we have a transformer from the 70's:

And here we have a real life walking mech:

All I'm saying is.....I hope I can buy a Madcat II when I'm rich.
My question is, where do these people find the time and money.

the film student in me just sighed and rolled his eyes. but then my pancreas reached over and slapped him and told him to shut the **** up, because it's probably going to be awesome.

I will not be impressed untill that mech can handle inclines, stair lock obstacles, crouching, and the incredible recoil of two shoulder-mounted LRM20s and a torso mounted AC20.

You nerds ever play MechAssault 2 on Xbox?

It sometimes offends mechwarrior purists, but I think it is badazz. The online play is great. Zendetta is my xbox username as well.

I cried when Optimus Prime died. (I was what, 9?).

I cried again when nobody got the "Ba-weep, granna-weep, ninnybom" Trollshido joke. (I was 30.)

Having absolutely no commitment to the fine art of cinematography, I'm looking forward to seeing this. I only wish Jerry Bruckheimer was making it.. Transformer car chase scenes, explosions, the Autobots rolling into town with the sun setting in the background... frickin sweet.

Isn't Michael Bay the guy Trey Parker and Matt Stone penned that song in Team America for?

Ok, yeah that'd be him. Here's the song for your listening pleasure. It's from a scene in which the hero leaves the team but misses his girlfriend and teammate.

Optimus Prime 1 of only 2 original transformers I own. I was sad when he died. Damn that sucked. Yes, I was old enough to watch the originals. That bad ass fight between him and that Ninja robot WHen she took his gun and kicked all the autobots asses.

I was wondering where I knew that from...thought it was a star wars reference though.

i've already started a savings account for when the Madcat is available for purchase at your local battlemech dealer, though the clanner in me still likes to call it a Timberwolf. by the way, LRM's wouldn't have recoil.
