This is the first ninjitsu school I've ever seen in LI. Supposedly they teach a form of jujistu and ninpo. The randori they showed seemed bullshidoish a la aikido demonstrations. I know not all aikido is bullshido, I'm just generalizing frrom the few aikido clips I've seen on here. I will definetley check out the school. Also not alot of guys here from NY let alone Long Island so this won't probably matter to alot of you.

Focus on tiny kids? Check.

Pushing merchandise? Check.

Crappy demo video with students offering no resistance and falling over? Check.

Hilarious photoshopped pictures of kids looking deadly next to wolves and tigers? Check.

Bloody funny if you ask me. My favourite quote of the site:

"Today’s Little Ninjas Are Tomorrow’s Future!"

Look out world!

Quick tour around the site and.... wow, just getting your black belt gets you a rank of Sensei, nice. Oh, and Seagal is one of his Inspirations. What could go wrong?

Under the techniques section, the video started out like a badass fight in
Vegas or something, only to reveal its true colors - How our style is very
effective against some guy who does stuff we are expecting. I think it
would look very Ettish-y if a real NHB guy got in there.

Entertaining, though.

I would like to point out that this kid was given a black belt by them --

I think she's demonstrating their Happy Cardiac Arrest Technique.

Nice pledge, too. Almost looks like sig. material
(I pledge allegiance to a dog with Hitler on top of a mountain)

"The 6700 square foot building has two separate training floors and a full shuriken and archery range"

Did you guys see this? I'm signing up!

That picture does for me what the Michaelangelo picture does for Bad News Hughes. If the damn site would let me change my avatar, that would be it.

Black belt 'hall of fame' photos: "Who's next? It could be YOU!"

Renshi is Genbukan, which usually has a pretty high standard supposedly and has legitimate connections to ninpo (if there is such a thing at least), though there is really very little indication as to his licensing or rank from Tanemura Shoto.

I'm a little suprised to be baffled by the content in those videos, there is a bunch of solo form stuff (which we don't do in the Bujinkan, but I'm assuming it is from some other arts Tanemura teaches) and the tachi waza looks very aikido-esque... although in the so-called "randori" video Renshi and partner perform a Kukishinden ryu dakentaijutsu kata by rote.

Asia did or does train in the Genbukan, I'm curious if he has anything to say about this instructor.

I dunno about that. By the expression on this kids face they might have actually got him to stand in with the tiger.

They should at least get a real tiger, that would give better expressions.
