Anyone has any idea about this Shifuji Shaurya Bhradwaj ?. He claims to be world's best commando trainer.

Here's his website(I am getting security warning when I try to view it)
http://googleweblight.com/i?u=http://www.shifuji.in/about-grandmaster-shifuji.php&rqid=m-4l33B0&geid=1001

Here some people are disapproving of him
https://googleweblight.com/i?u=https://www.quora.com/Who-is-Grandmaster-Shifu-Shaurya-Bharadwaj&rqid=qKdbgDfP&geid=1001

Here's an interview from this guy
https://www.google.co.in/amp/www.sportskeeda.com/amp/general-sports/interview-chief-commandos-mentor-grandmaster-shifuji-shaurya-bhardwaj-treat-martial-art-as-sport

This is from mainstream media
http://googleweblight.com/i?u=http://zeenews.india.com/entertainment/celebrity/meet-shifuji-shaurya-bhardwaj-the-living-legend-who-played-tiger-shroffs-trainer-in-baaghi_1882742.html&rqid=IMucN8Kg&geid=1001

This guy also appears to be some sort of 'nationalist'

The image( of his "girls' self defence" training) I give depicts child abuse(And some people say he is doing something really great by teaching girls self defence) more than any kind of training (jackass parents of these kids should be put behind bars for life).

I won't pretend to know about the law enforcement tactics of India, but standing with your foot on the back of an assailant with a drawn machete when you arrest someone (forgetting to actual use cuffs to restrain the individual or put them in a position to not suffer from positional asphyxia) isn't exactly inspiring for ones ability to teach legal law enforcement tactics.

But hey, it's India

What the country has to do with any of this?

Blaming a country for the actions of one individual is wrong.

Many find this Shifuji Shaurya Bhardwaj fishy.

I am not trying to offend or stand up for anyone or anything.

Police organizations around the world have varying policies in regards to the legality of specific compliance methods, techniques, and even tools.
I am personally ignorant of India's ... India is huge and fairly diverse, so I would think those things would vary by geographic local and thus what looks absurd to some may be legit in some way in some area's.
Maybe that is what Bar Humbug meant as well?

Actually the country could have a lot to do with it. Some countries are **** holes with really bad track records where human rights are concerned. That type of country could easily influence this type of fucktardness.

Ho Ho Ho

If this is a photo of the guy then I couldn't help noticing that he does not seem to be muscular. Most of the armed forces guys I've met whilst not body builders do have a degree of muscle tone. This guy has arms like twigs.

That guy is relatively ripped for the region, most likely because he has access to edible food.

For comparison here is a WWI-era Indian soldier (suffering from malnutrition due to either refusal to eat horse meat, or simply not having access to enough of it).

Millions of Indians (almost 200M, actually) still look like this today for the same reasons. So Mr. "Commando" is a regular Lou Ferrigno in that part of the world. To get any beefier, he'd have to move up a class or two like the Bollywood stars he trains like Sunil Shetty or Salman Khan. They have plenty to eat.

Hmm, easy there special flower..

What I was getting at is that, like what Bneterasedmynam and the artist formerly known as Submessanger were suggesting, that policing is specific to the country or region in question, so while I was making a shitty joke about the display (or lack thereof) of any real policing tactics/observerance with Human Rights legislation in a singular picture, I am also remarking on the fact that those might be the legitimate tactics taught to elements of India's law enforcement apparatus.

All in all I think this guy is a bullshit artist (caveat: By Western Standards). More to the point what would a guy who has done TKD and a little Krotty know about performing an arrest, a hard stop or dealing with armed assailants. But like I said, maybe he is considered an expert according to the standards at play in India.
