So I've decided that I would like to try out kickboxing. But after looking up schools around the Seattle area, there doesn't seem to be any clear choice among them. They all seem to be exercise kickboxing.

I'm looking for a gym that allows semi- to full-contact sparring. Nothing too costly, since I have a limited amount of extra income.

Any school recommendations? Any other notable MA schools is fine too.

Thanks!

Well their is always
http://www.seattledojo.org/about.htm
Which has the notable distinction of being

Seattle Dojo, the oldest Judo dojo in the United States, was established in 1902.
Wouldn't be doing a lot of kicking but it would certainly meet your full contact needs.
It should also meet your budget needs at

Initiation Fee: $25

Monthly Dues: $25 ($20 for juniors)

Judogi: $42-$60

A current USJF (United States Judo Federation) membership is required, and the annual USJF fee is $50. Applications for USJF membership can be filed through Seattle Dojo.

A little bit of upfront cost with getting the intiation fee and the USJF and a Gi but after that 25 a month is certainly cheap while getting some of the highest level martial arts training you really can get.
