I think you're an indaa pretender.

Translate this and maybe I'll believe you're not full of ****.

'Iłk'id́ą, k ǫǫ yá'édįná'a.
'Ákoo Tł'ízhe hooghéí dá'áíná bikǫ' 'óliná'a.
'Ákoo Tł'ízheí gotál yiis'́ąná'a.
'Ákoo Mai'áee híłghoná'a.
Gotál jiis'́ąí 'áee, Mai tsíbąąee naaná'azhishná'a.
'Ákoo bitseeí tsínáiłgoná'a.

Long ago, there was no fire.
Then only those who are called flies had fire.
Then the flies held a ceremony.
And coyote came there.
At that place where they held the ceremony,
Coyote danced around and around at the edge of the fire.
And he continually poked his tail in the fire.

Welcome to Bullshido. That forum is our investigative area and is moderated for on topic and informative content. While I certainly appreciate that you translated that, it has no bearing on the original thread wherein someone was asked to translate that to verify their claim of being a Native American. It's great that you can translate that, but it has no bearing on the investigation. Does that make sense?

Good work on the translation buddy and welcome to Newbietown.

Newbietown is a forum where new users can introduce themselves to the site. You could tell us about your Martial background and what you enjoy and hope to get out of your training.

And don't mind jnp he gets paid per cull.

^Disclaimer: That was a joke.

Welcome to Bullshido.
Both jnp's test-text, and the translation come verbatim from the same site: http://www.omniglot.com/writing/apache.htm

Just sayin...

Sure. I was whoa'ing at the actual test-text, not where it came from.

Yeah, first thing I did was googling that stuff. So yeah, the fact that it's absolutely the same translation that can be found on a number of websites doesn't really help.

I'm watching Twin Peaks again now, and this is way off what they actually said.

(Welcome... and good luck)
