Hey guys, I wanted to show you my student's pro debut in the CFFC a few weeks ago. This fight landed him a three fight deal with CFFC. Off to a great start.

Brad sucks. Tell him to put on his jacket.

It's an inside joke for Steve.

Thanks guys. BTW, Brad has been in Ludlow, Massachusetts all this week with Lyman Good to help train Ricardo Funch for his January 14th UFC 142 bout against Mike Pyle. Great prep for his Feb 4th bout as well.

Brad defeated Roger Gracie BB Luciano Cristovam last night at the CFFC XIII.

It was a war in which Luciano finished with a 10-8 round 1. He was game and came to fight. First half of the round was a takedown war in which Luciano won, eventually secured Brad's back. He never could finish the RNC, but had Brad in some serious danger several times.

Round 2 Brad came out on fire, determined & motivated to not repeat round 1.

I will quote Jim Genia's comments on the fight:

"Despite being utterly exhausted, Desir comes out and wrecks Cristovam with strikes, then pounds him into mush on the ground for the stoppage. Brad Desir guts out a courageous win by weathering Luciano Cristovam's JJ storm to pound out the TKO at 2:43, R2. Very impressive"

It was a great fight all around. Brad showed he can come back for the W from the brink of defeat. Cristovam was a grappling beast and it was an honor to go against him. I really look forward to seeing him fight again. Onward and upward.
