Catch, BJJ, Judo, SAMBO, JJJ, they are all gonna share similarities the usual difference is the application, sporting rules, and the philosophy/strategy of the art.
When it comes to grappling it's best just to take what works for you and apply it.
That is not my point, cacc usually says it has stuff and an attitude to offer that you can not find in other styles... but I couldn't see anything special, besides the names.

How the fuck is what he is doing catch because they use the name of catch? I havn't seen anything that you can not find in other grappling arts.
And am I wrong or is he using the gracie gift at 4:50?

Out of everything Ive learned i found Catch to be the most useful. Its hard to fight back when you constantly smashed and in pain.
Just finished the whole video, amazing. The shin-lock/toe hold is one I absolutely love for getting back to guard if someone has back/hooks in.
I've found a ton in CACC that most BJJ background people aren't expecting, it's like a secret manual of pain. Only wish I knew more.
