Takaku "Yusuke" Fuke is the David. He's a Pancrase original, having fought in the promotion's inaugural event and spent almost the entirety of his fifty fight career there. Naturally, he's gone up against everyone from Bas Rutten to Maurice Smith and the Shamrock brothers.

Scott Bessac is the Goliath. He was one of Ken Shamrock's earliest students in the Lion's Den. According to some sources he actually tried to apply for UFC 1, but the promoters picked Shamrock instead after Bessac told them of his instructor's ability. He eventually did get to fight in a few UFC preliminaries.
