Does anyone know anything about Green Dragon Studios?
Are they legit?
They used to have a shitload of videos advertised in Inside Kung Fu in the 80s and 90s. I notice that they still have a small ad these days.
The main guys were John Allen and Gene Chicoine and they used to write articles for the magazine.
They offer several HUNDRED forms from many many different styles. Is this really possible?
They also had some programs for Iron Palm, Iron Vest and something called Stone Warrior.
Was any of this stuff for real, or is it made-up?

It is Fake

Videotape instruction is bullshit without a real instructor and Martial Arts background.

Lama Pai Sifu
Royal Dragon and a few others on there have respectable linage or knowledge so I defer to their judgment.

I've seen three of their tapes and they are pretty substandard IMO.

Thanks for that link.

WTF is up with their Bible Study classes though? Sounds a bit like a cult.

The guy made some good points about being physically strong in regards to defending yourself, so they do a lot of conditioning, etc. At the same time, according to the discussions, he goes to tournament/demos, films other schools sets/forms, and then mimics them and re sells them. There's no way he could know all those different forms of Kung Fu.
