What who said i Dont Spar?
I Spar all the time!
Oh, I'm sorry. It's just that in that other thread, you spouted off that Wing Chun "too d33dly to comp3t3". I simply deduced that you also think it's "too d33dly to sp4r".

Yeah alright mate, I've never said that Wing Tsun is too Deadly or anything like that.
I DONT THINK IT IS.
Your totally misunderstanding me!
Some of the Wing/Ving Tsun fighters i know(from my organisation) are now fighting in MMA competitions in Europe.
I just beleive its harder to adjust the training for MMA rules than it is with most arts.

That's some wicked backpedalling. You're even better than this guy:
http://www.chariotaku.com/images/backpedal.jpg
and when Rules are applied...this becomes alot more difficult because you have to give careful consideration as too how you are going to attack.(when it should be automatic)
As someone who trains BJJ as well as Wing Tsun i just think that MMA rules suite one art alot more than another.
(another example is that you can't kick or stamp an opponent who is on the ground, this automatically favours the grappling arts over the striking)
So when you were saying this, you weren't trying to say that too many Wing Chun moves are dangerous for the ring? And if they're dangerous for the ring, how do you train them realistically during your training?

No thats Right i was'nt saying that! LOL
I was discussing how i think the Standard MMA/Vale Tudo Rules Suite certain Arts better than others.(if you cant admit that then i think YOUR in denial)
Anyway Q: You practice a CMA Do you think your art 'at least' matches what is being learnt in your run of the mill 'MMA gym' or Not? (if you dont why are you studying it?)

Fuck this shit. You took the time to create a new thread, and yet you still do not answer a question about your claims of BJJ training: http://www.bullshido.net/forums/showpost.php?p=1427092&postcount=112
You still haven't answer the question Bear1980. What's your BJJ rank? How long have you been training? If you are not training now, when was the last time you trained (and again, for how long)?
Do I need to quote Tom's post to remind of you of this question you seem to be "forgetting" to answer:
The statement he made would be true if he went there one single day sometime in the past six months or was studying there diligently every day ever since that school opened their doors.
The question he did not answer was: what is his rank?

Im sure i've answered this already. BLUE!!!!!!!
And you got a Blue Belt in BJJ in one year?
Going to two different places?
WTF?
Please enlighten me as to why?
Because he said so,
and he can back it up.

Guess what guys?
Yep, this is going right back to the undefeated fighter thread.
Why?
It is the same argument in a different thread. That way he can't back pedal from things he already said.
Now, if any of you can make a decent argument to keep it here I will.
Go.

My arguement is that I'm not even going to bother with that thread.....too long and convuluted for me to untangle.

Go.
You want more traffic in your sub-forum.
You want to decide what stays and what goes as the thread develops.
You want to attract more CMAers to explain why he's nuts over those "Redneck MMAers" he talks of in the other thread.
Pick any two.

You want more traffic in your sub-forum. True but, not a safety net for delusional CMAers.
You want to decide what stays and what goes as the thread develops. Unless it is the same drivel (which it is minus omega) as the other thread.
You want to attract more CMAers to explain why he's nuts over those "Redneck MMAers" he talks of in the other thread.
Which he can answer in the other thread.
Pick any two.I tried.

Oh and Bear, the BJJ blue belt thing needs to be answered. You can email the relevant information to one of our Admins. Asia is the best since he knows the people you are claiming to train with.
Again who promoted you to blue.
Which school (you named 2) that you received the rank.
With a year of training and your claims to know what BJJ and MMA lacks you need to be verified.
This is the real reason why I want to move the thread. He split it to avoid confirming things IMO.

Because i intended this thread to Be about Chinese Martial Arts.
Not about me.

Well your 'sort of' right in Pride Rules you can Kick and Stamp someone on the ground.(Sakuraba used to do this very effectively against fighters on the ground)
But Not to the Head or Groin! (which lets be honest are some of the most effective places to strike).
Yes i'm a troll. (and no i do not have a valid point)
Thanks for clearing that up for us.
Now, for your next argument,
would you prefer the guano filled icing cone,
or the calk gun loaded with bullshit?
No don't ask, I'd rather risk a temp Ban then prove I'm a BJJ Blue Belt
