We've all heard your rants and cries of BAJI!. How about some more info?
Like, what are some of the basic techniques? Whats some of the conditioning used?
I've seen bits and pieces about how its all about getting in, pounding someone, and then some sort of clinch, putting them on the ground, and pounding some more! Enlighten us!
Or find a kind soul with a video camera and make some videos, please?

Baji seems to be the "in" thing now. Ugh. Anyway, go look at the journal of chinese martial science. He has pictures of the first form or two and some of the applications. It's most distinguishing characteristic is power generation. Plain and simple. You can't describe it, you have to see it for yourself.
I'm gonna fight, fight, fight, fight, fight and destruct the world.
*notes how odd it is that thunder and lightning occur at the same time, and that lightning is now blue-colored*

I practice Baji, so set you straight here-
I think the main technique a severe ass beating distributed liberally around all the chump ass bitches (and trick ass marks) who try to fuck with Baji's shit, scientifically speaking. Generally, this is accomplished by pummeling them using power and force to prevent them from not getting beaten to death. There is no escape!!!!
Essentially, what we try to do in Baji is develope as much power as possible. As Mikus said, plain and simple. Nothing fancy, just step in quick, and BAM! I'll list this;
Technqiues: Generally elbows, palms, shoulder, body, hips, bottoms of feet, head, anything that you can smash into someone with. Elbows preferred, though slams and body checks are also used quite a bit. Palms to, anything that can hit HARD without having to tense (more tension = less power). It's all about set up in Baji. You want every hit to count, so you wait the time is right (that time usually being RIGHT FREAKING NOW) and blast them in the body (body shots are more common, it's a bigger surface, less chance to miss). And if they hit you at the same time, who gives a crap, because chances are they aren't hitting you nearly as hard.
Conditioning: The good ol' body slamming into a tree method is preferred. Of the 8 techniques (principles) of the first two stages, each one has a method of bashing yourself against a pole to achieve a body capable of acting like a blocking surface. And more importantly, a striking surface.
Power Genetation: Sweet and simple. Just stomp, sink, twist, push and kill (KILL). This you really have to see. It's the whole thing. Baji just generates power. Shit loads of it (another scientific term).
If you want to see how the techniques look in form, check out http://crane.50megs.com/ The "8 basic techniques" page is solid, so are the forms, but the "8 major techniques" shown are for crap, that guy doesn't know what he's doing.
Now, let's see what Asia has to say on the topic...
what he said . . .*grunt*.

EXCELLENT!!!!!!
>Like, what are some of the basic techniques?
Elbow, palm, fist, shoulder, kua, are all is a pretty basic manner. Get in close, HIT with what is available.
>Whats some of the conditioning used?
This is a key factor in BAJI. It strenght lies and learning to generate and issue power. The 'bear walk' is done alot to leach pple proper foot movement. Stance traing in mabu is used to strenghten the legs and teach developing fajing. Tony Chen has a great program for this. Also bang your self up against a tree, that what I do!

It is hard trying to explain in words. I could show you better than anything. Closing distances is done many different ways. (Depending on which style of Baji you are doing.) The idea it to either unbalance your opponent, by using a distracting attack, or to catch him slipping, like when he is recovering from a missed technique. Once you enter you assualt an not give him a chance to recover which usually ends in an attack that disables or send the guy flying.

Mikus,
You righ BAJI is IN now. When I first cameback to the states in 1993 pple wondered what KF I was doing. I tell then Hakkyokuken, sense I learned it in Japan, then I would say BAJIQUAN hoping that would clear it up. When that failded I'd say "The funky Karate Akira does on Virtua Fighter" then they just thought I was making it up. Now they all bow down!!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA!

whats a kua strike?
<Me> John, what do you know about Zen Buddhism? <John> *smacks me*
<John> I'd have to smack you sometime...
'kua' basically means the pelvic girdle. If you're hitting with it, it probably means your hip, but 'kua' refers to the whole thing. Illium, ishium, sacrum and the way they work together.
