Does any one know where I can get a bhatleh on the cheap? I have found variations but they are outragious in price.
Or any other unusual and or rarely seen pieces of edged weaponry or other catigories?

You could try the Franklin Mint. They sell alot of Star Trek crap.

But it'd be only a replica.

I remember reading somewhere that the Batleth is not manufacutred as a traditional exotic MA weapon because it is way too dangerous to use.

Plus, there isn't any art form that uses it anyway.

Actually, You can fuck some one up with one. in a most grotesque manner.
But I just want one so I can say I have one. Much like the Dark Phoenix sword. and a few others I either have or are on the wish list. But it would have to be steel, that way I could sharpen it.

I would also try the conventions. Some dealers do have real ones made of steal, but they go quick. So best to go the first day of the convention. If you still don't see any then just ask the dealer who is selling knives. He will probaly have mail order information for you. Also ask the Klingons at the conventions they usually know where you can get them at a good price. (Can you guys tell I'm a Trek fan?)
