Stumbled upon a suspiciously clean, well equipped MMA school called the Lion's Center in Chicago's West Loop. Anyone bullshido'ers ever hear of/train there?
They were closing up the school for the day but I managed to speak with the Chief Instructor, Benny Ghofrani, a few minutes. He claims that the center is affiliated with THE Chute Box academy in Rio of Silva/Pele/Ninja fame.
He was a nice enough a guy and the school was beautifully equipped. Benny said he had competed in Europe and the US and won in several King of The Cage matches yet I couldn't find anything at all about him on the web. I'm going to check out a class but thought I'd ask if this guy's really teaching "Authentic Vale Tudo" or just Mcdojoing Brazilian MMA...
