I just recently became a student of Joseph Wilson, who was taught under Okabayashi Shogen. He in turn was taught under Tokimune Takeda and Takuma Hisa. The organization is called Hakuho Kai. Oh and, I'm from Toronto.

It's good against drunks, and passive aggressive confrontations. Suprisingly, this DOES encompass many confrontational situations.
Against an amped and wildly swinging attacker bent on fucking you up - good luck. You are going to need something else.
so what do you call the gracie self defense method than? Hell in a new grappling magazine cover I see a picture of ken shamrock doing a standing arm bar.
What do I call it?
I call it a posed picture of a technique he has never used to finish a fight. Ever.
What do I call the Gracie self defense methods? Again, I call them techniques they have never used to finish fights. In a sense they are old style jiu jitsu. Classical JJJ techniques. They are NOT AIKI.
In addition, if you have ever actually SEEN the Gracie self defense method, those techniques are done against exactly who I stated they would work against, passive aggressives - not wildly swinging attackers bent on fucking you up.
Unless you can come up with some real support to your complete bullshit don't just add in random fucking shit like Shamrock doing a standing armbar that somehow completely validates Aikido or aikijutsu.

No offense but how do you know what works on passive aggressives or wildly swinging drinks bent on effin' you up or otherwise?
