The arcade version is awesome. I played it for a bit and then decided to quit because I was spending too much of my training time trying to figure out how to link air juggles.
They've made some characters extra powerful. Usually it's Jin/Kazuya/Heihachi, but this time it's Bryan Fury. He's probably the most used character here in Japan, probably followed by Feng Wei and Nina Williams (my personal favorite).

Haahahaha, Japan knows where it's at with the Bryan Fury.

Bryan Fury is such a pain in the ass to deal with, if someone knows how to use him. His added low kick to uppercut is a great move for people who are quick to tech roll. Also, his flip kick hits grounded players and is nasty after a mach breaker (f,f+2).

TTT Jin + anybody = win
Ippatsu: Just wondering why the Japanese consider Feng to be the strongest character. I've never gotten a straight answer. Over here in North America, Steve Fox is considered the strongest with Nina and Bryan following him. Also, if you're using Nina, you shouldn't worry too much about fancy air juggles. The meat of her game is hurting people while they're down.
Did anybody else shell out the extra dough for the Collector's edition bundle? It comes with a Tekken anniversary cover DVD case that holds 6 DVDs and a Hori stick. If you're really going to get into this or are really into fighting games, I suggest that you get it. The Hori stick is awesome.

I'll agree that Jin was the man in TTT, but he was pretty boring to use. He was the first character I really learned, because of his strength and easy juggles. I used to team him up with Kazuya, Jun or Xiaoyu.
Personally, I thought both Anna Williams and Julie Chang were pretty tough. Anna's elbows on a counter hit and Julie's jump kick juggle and elbows would whittle away your enemy's life. Ogre was also pretty good with his unblockables (not True Ogre).

Yeah, Jin's Laser Scraper juggles were so annoying. I agree with Osiris' statement about Jin being borderline cheap. He may be cheap, but you had to train hard to execute Jin's game perfectly.
I hated True Ogre's unblockable more than Ogre's because he had longer arms than Ogre. I hated Ogre's kicks more than anything. If done deep enough, the first 4 kicks of the Inifinity Kicks series was guaranteed. Don't forget his standing right kick took out a good deal of health.

I used to use Paul in this one he seemed to slow. His hits are stronger and still has sweet take downs. I use Kazuya.

i use paul every now and then, but mostly marduk, bruce, and kazuya. paul's d+1+2 is one of the best moves in the game

i recently bought the game for ps2. I like the Chinese Kenpo character, Feng, I also like Bruce, Steve Fox, and Law. I was happy that they brought back some of the previous characters like Baek. The movies are great to watch at the end of story mode.
My best character is Kazuya Mishima, although devil Jin can beat the mess out of almost anyone in the game. Does anybody know why heihachi doesnt have the devil gene? Jinpachi, Kazuya, and Jin all have it, but for some reason heihachi doesnt.

Two of my friends really own with Paul. I hate playing against them. Although, I suppose if you learn those long combos almost any character becomes pretty powerful (Yoshimitsu's is also rape).
Can't wait to get this game..probably won't happen until this summer though.

I remember the leg sweep followed by uppercut to get you in the air. Then as you are landing do the ->->kick attack which rolls paul over onto you. As you get up to recover return to step one. This, with a few minor variations, allowed me and my friends to walk through absolutely anyone with Paul.
Can you still do that? How bout 10 hit combos?

They took more away from Paul than gave him anything good. His Just Frames aren't as safe anymore and they took away the range of his df+1. He can back sway after some moves, but that just means he has better juggles now. Paul's only effective from close range. If you can space him out, he can't do anything to you.
10-hits are there. People who didn't have one in Tekken 4 were given one as well.
I love the fact that everyone can do juggles that do 50+ pts of damage.
