I just bought one of these shirts last week and I have to say it was a great buy. Initially I bought this as a means to protect the world from my chest hair while wearing my gi in class and cotton shirts were kind of restrictive and made me hotter than I cared for (I wear a heavy weight gi to begin with.)

It has some special fibers and whatnot to trap moisture and it really does keeps you cool. While it isn't a wonder product it did help keep me cooler during class warm ups and sparring than a cotton under shirt. Also for jogging around here in muggy south florida it does help marginally (though the mild winter weather here has been prolonged somwhat.)

I bought a black "Turf wear" shirt which has long sleeves for 35 bucks. Kind of pricey for an undershirt, especially for a college student, so I suggest trying it on before you buy it.

I wear Under Armour all the time, both on duty and in the gym. Cold Gear for when it's cold, Heat Gear for when it's hot and Turf Gear for grappling. It's expensive but totally worth it. And in my case, a tax write-off.

I heart underarmor. I work outside all year, and have to be able to move fast, and in odd positions, which means that bulkiness is bad.

It kicks butt under my gi, too, because tank tops move around too much, and I refuse to sweat in cotton.

Last year I was rolling with some kid at SBG, and the dumbfuck queer wasn't wearing underpants or a cup with shorts. We were doing RNC drills, I look behind me, and I see a hairy fucking testicle laying on the mat, apparently out for a leasurely stroll and to get some air. Currently, I'm in the dorms at FIU in Miami, my parents house however is in Broward, that's actually around where Asia's folks live if I recall.

Depending where I am, I am either 30 minutes to 50 minutes from Boca.

When Asia visits his folks a South Florida Throwdown should be in order. I never get my shit together to get to the Florida Throwdowns, not to mention the strip clubs are way better here in 305 anyway. :smileinbox:

Heh, heh. The hot weather here can get totally humid in the balls-stick-to-the-side-of-your-leg kind of way but I definitely prefer that to 10 inches of snow in the winter time.

Right now though its not too hot its nice and cool at 77-79 degrees, makes it kind of hard to break a sweat when you jog unless you are all bundled up.

Except for those of us who are Italian. In winter we're Olive and in the summer we're a mix of of EVOO and a cooked Crostini sandwich.
